Quinta da Regaleira is an entire universe on four hectares of land filled with symbols and signs. A fairy-tale palace with an alchemical laboratory and an incredibly beautiful garden with a network of underground tunnels and bizarre buildings, each bearing a hidden meaning. This is the place where the most enigmatic personage in Portuguese history, millionaire benefactor António Augusto Carvalho Montero, lived and worked.
We will go underground through an Initiation Well, walk through underground labyrinths and reach the Garden of Eden. We'll visit grottoes, caves, climb towers and, at the end, we'll visit old man Monteiro and learn about the troubled fate of this mystical place.
